a doctor is gunned down just feet from the front door of his northeast baltimore home. home.this morning, police are searching for the gunman.megan gilliland is here with more on thh invvstigatton. good morning guys,by the time help arrived doctor peter marvit had collapsed in the roaa. it happened around 10:30 monday night.police say doctor marvit had just parked infront of his house.we're told he may have been returning home from chorus practice when he was shot in the chest.neighbors say they heard as many as four shots fired.when help arrived

tensions monday on two passenger jetssthat ad juut landed in new york.as sandra &ppndo reports... one pilot eve ttreatened to evacuate his plane if he wasn't given more i. information. --reporter ppg-as follows -- confusion and frustration moments after two passenger

"we're surroonded by emergency vehicles there's a reason for this. someeody's got to give us the reason or we're oing to evacuate the aircraft. you've got 60 seconds." for about ten tenss inutes, pplots demanded answwrs from the control tower after an american airlines and a fiin air flight were ordered to taxi to a remote area of the airport for inspection. "i'm the captain of this airliner and i need some inforratiin pronto." transportation security administration officials say an anonymous caller said there was a security threat on board these two jets coming into new york. "the pilot came on and told us and he had no information for a possible phone in threat."when situations like this happen, flight safety experts say ultimately the pilot can decide when to evacuaae a plane but relies on information from the ground.
